In the 1960’s Laurrie had the foresight to see what a success Canberra’s Inner South would be - he built a commercial building at the Narrabundah Shopping Centre and in the 1990’s commenced the trend of ACT wide Real Estate Offices relocating outside of the Canberra City area.
